Research interests

Jeannette has a background of ubiquitous computing. Her research interests concern End User Programming for smart environments and the Internet of Things, a concept she explored back in 2003 when it was known as 'Embedded Internet'. Jeannette's current research involves decision support for EUP systems, HCI and smart IoT applications. Her main research goal is to develop intelligent user-and-context-aware decision support EUP systems. Currently she works on the Internet of Things, HCI and social research, semantic Web, cloud computing, semantic sensor networks, data-centric networking and information search and retrieval to solve problems and develop new technologies for future smart environments and applications.
