Inked - MA Printmaking Interim Show

16 - 24 March 2011
Private View: Thursday 17 March, 17.00

This exhibition provided an opportunity to view the work in progress of artists from the MA Printmaking course at Cambridge School of Art.

The show celebrated the diverse quality of work on the Masters Printmaking programme at Anglia Ruskin University. A wide range of technologies were demonstrated, highlighting the expanding potential of print as a powerful image-making tool for fine art research and practice. The artists in the show came from a range of creative backgrounds, including fine art painting, design, illustration, photography and textiles. In each case however, they were drawn towards printmaking as a dynamic investigative discipline.

The exhibition displayed a wide variety of printmaking processes including monoprints, etchings, linocuts, woodcuts, screen prints and lithographs.
