Gold medal boosts Danny's Olympic hopes

Anglia Ruskin University student Danny Williams has added another gold medal to his collection and boosted his chances of competing in next year's Olympic Games.

The judoka won gold in the under 73kg category in San Salvador at the Pan American Open championships at the weekend, defeating David Ancor of Canada in the final by a single penalty having already seen off three other fighters....

GSI launches energy and food 'shocks' network

Researchers at Anglia Ruskin University have secured funding to investigate how the key resources of food, water and energy are linked, and how a "shock" to one can affect the others, as well as society as a whole.

La crème de la crème of Year 7 language students will showcase their skills in a Spelling Bee competition at Anglia Ruskin University on Friday, 3 July.

Having already seen off competition from over 74,000 schoolchildren across the country, 108 pupils will travel to Anglia Ruskin's Cambridge campus to take part in the grand final of the Routes into Languages National Spelling Bee.
