Anglia Ruskin Professor given prestigious medal

Anglia Ruskin University's Professor Richard Aspinall has been given the Lord Cohen Medal for his contribution to research in ageing.

Professor Aspinall, who is Director of the Health and Wellbeing Academy at Anglia Ruskin, received the medal during the 65th British Society for Research on Ageing (BSRA) Annual General Meeting at University College London, after giving the keynote Cohen ....

Anglia Ruskin quick to sign up to healthy pledge

Anglia Ruskin University has become one of the first businesses to sign up to a council initiative to encourage healthier eating in Essex.

Chelmsford City Council launched the Essex-wide Tuck In campaign at the restaurant in at Anglia Ruskin's campus, with councillor Ian Grundy joined by members of Anglia Ruskin's catering team.

Arabella's now making plans for Venice

An Anglia Ruskin University student is planning a summer holiday with a difference after receiving a £2,500 scholarship.

Arabella Marsh-Hilfiker, who is from Hemel Hempstead and studying in Cambridge, is hoping to secure a place at an international residency for emerging artists in Venice, after becoming the first recipient of the Mark Wood Art and Design Scholarship.

Conservatives fear 'Kendall-Flint quake'

A new poll shows that Liz Kendall and Caroline Flint are the candidates that Conservative councillors most fear in the forthcoming elections for Leader and Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

The survey, carried out by the Labour History Research Unit at Anglia Ruskin University, polled 405 councillors (155 Conservative, 214 Labour and 36 SNP) in key marginal constituencies across the UK....
